After a long and exhaustive flight (15 hours, phew), I can happily say that I have finally arrived in Tokyo! Everyone I’ve met so far has been very nice and as things have calmed down now for the day, I can finally start writing down some thoughts.

But what am I even doing here? I have been fortunate enough to be accepted into the ‘Academic Course Access Program’ (ACAP, for short) at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to experience an entirely different student life from what I am used to and explore a fascinating and beautiful country in the meantime.

Heres the best part though: if you want, you can follow me on my journey :blush:. I am planning to post monthly updates here on my experiences living and studying abroad in Tokyo. And if you’re reading this in the future (how are those AI kittens coming along?), you can get a nice cup of tea and dive into the next post below.
